Talent at Life

While working in staffing for over 15 years, I’ve noticed that the more things advance, the more it leaves people behind. A big part of my job is spotting and fostering talent. I also try to support the people I work with by doing whatever I can to help set them up for success.

At Life, we plan to use this logic to create a space that teach and attract thinkers; to create a space for a healthy balance between humanity and technology. Life will focus on bringing in small to medium size companies that build off each other to help all grow; something that will encourage them to step outside of their comfort zone.

In a conversation about the value of small business, for the U.S. economy, we can't leave out this truth--all businesses start small. All the 18,500 businesses in the United States with 500 or more employees once began as a part of the small business sector. Apple started in the garage of Steve Jobs and Facebook in Mark Zuckerberg's dorm room. Home-based, non-employing small businesses become small employers, which in turn become big businesses. In a way, one could argue that the American small business economy is where the American economy begins.

As for Life, the spaces will range in size and technology to assist small companies in growing into the next power house.
